Trace Paper Prototype

List a new idea (not just a fact) you've learned about your topic while making your game. How did you come to learn this? What sources where helpful to you in gaining this understanding? What makes these news or research sources especially informative and trustworthy?

I learned this when I was searching info on

this topic, because I like helping people and

this is like helping kids get a new family.Kids

go to the orphanages because sometimes

of how they look or if they have a problem

when they were born and they can't afford the

medicine.But if I had a kid and he/she had a

problem I won't give it away i'll take care of it.

So that's why I like helping kids getting a new

family that care about them.

Plan Team Game

Is your team game a good learning game? Why? What would you add to the Hobo's Journey game to improve it? What would you add to the Larry game to improve it?

I think yes because it teaches them to be themselves and no other people. It is going to show the kids to help other children and help parents how to adopt kids.I would change it and put on like more action so it can look funner and cool.Like I just said I would add more action and more people and sound, and that's it.

Make Paper Prototype Part2

  • The Big Idea: Describe your team's game topic. What is the most important concept you want your players to learn? My game topic is about orphans and about adoption a child. The most important thing to learn is about putting facts about orphanages and other stuff.
  • Making Decisions as a Team: How did your individual ideas from Imagining Your Game come together for your team game topic?Well  I don't now because I guess we like to help people and kids of getting better parents.
  • Roles & Responsibilities: Talk about your team process. Describe your specific roles, and how you work together. We work together and help each other out.
  • Research: What kind of research went into the way you will express the game topic? What sources are you using and how do you know they are reliable? We arre searching about orphans and kind of facts we find that it's cool. And we also search why moms gave up their kids when they were babys oe already big.
  • Impact: Could the messages in the game concept or images in your game demo offend anyone? If so, how can you avoid this?I think no because we are going to make it fun and I just think that it's going to be a cool and fun game.
  • The User Experience: Explain the game play. What actions does the player take in the game? Has this changed since you first started planning your game? Why?My game is going to be about a maze and the player got to find their way out to their new family awesome.
  • Mastering Flash: What Flash resources have been most helpful in your learning so far, and why? How did you locate these resources?Yes because I'm the reasercher and that's important to reaserch about odopting kids.
  • Overcoming Challenges: What curriculum topic has been most difficult for you so far? How did you overcome this difficulty? The blogs because you got to explain everything and yea.

Imagine Team Game

  • WHO are you designing your game for? (Include the player's age, abilities, and prior knowledge of your topic.) How will you make sure your game is not hurtful to any group of people?I am designing a game for the orphans ,The ages that can play for this game is 13 and up,I now that it's not going to hurt people because it's going to be fun and there is going to be a lot of colors and stuff.
  • WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific.)It's going to teach them that they are going to be adopted and not an orphans, and they are actually going to feel some love.
    • If you are making a social issue game, how will you show multiple perspectives? They are going to see it their way and other people are going to see it their way.
  • WHERE does your game happen? It is going to happen in a maze.
    • Describe the world you will design for your game.Well my game is going to be awesome because the orphans don't get love from real parents.
    • How will this setting add to the learning experience?Kids will learn from the game by reading the facts that we are going to put in the game.
  • HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic? How I just said that we were going to put some facts about being an orphan.
    • What happens in the world that helps the player learn?Well while he/she is playing the game they can get adopted by a real family that love he/she.
    • How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game?Like taking care of themselves or beeing good and by beeing a smart child.

Choose Team Game Topic

Choosing a topic was easy for me because I like helping kids getting adopted. Every time I see a boy or girl in a orphanage  I feel that they got abounded ,because of their looks or if they don't want her/him.I feel sad so that's why I want to help them get a new family who will LOVE him/her.So that's why I choose that game topic
